More Americans Dead
At least four more U.S. servicemen were killed in Iraq today. I've heard as many as seven may have been killed; we're confirming.
The problem is, why should we have to?
The linked story above was just "below the fold" at the WaPo web site in small type. The story barely got a mention at the site for the NY Times either. And Google News nor Yahoo News felt this story important enough to cover.
A sad state of affairs when our media doesn't give our war dead the attention and respect they deserve. But why should they when the President of our nation can't make time to attend one soldier's funeral.
Mr. Bad Example in every sense.
